Do you think this charity will attract people?
Shane Uehara asked:
the charity name is called Happy Ranch
I hope to make outdoor sports that are known for only the wealthy, such as golf, horse riding, sailing, etc. more accessible to those who are in the cities or can’t afford the gears to enjoy those sports (from others donating used gears and more promotion for new clients etc.) and also to protect the environment for tranditional sports and camping etc.
do you think of the name and will it be able to attract people and some supports for it?

In Major League Baseball, why do the innings seem so long & boring?
auntfran8 asked:
This is the main reason why I only occasionally watch any Major League Baseball game, and, not even a whole one at that. The innings seem so long & boring! Why is that? Why can’t they make them shorter & faster? Also, why are they called ” innings” when its an outdoor sport?Shouldn’t they be called “outtings?”One more thing:Why are the words “top” & “bottom” used to describe the time left in an inning? After all, when they play, they’re standing on top of the baseball field, not under it,which is the bottom! Also,do any of them get bored sitting in the dugout,as a game drags on?

Outdoor party games for adults?
Melony R asked:
My husband and I are planning a joint sports themed birthday party. I am turning 30 and he is turning 25. Our friends are all within those ages also. I’m trying to think of some outdoor games we can play. I have bought little plastics trophies for winners. As of right now, all I can think of is dizzy bat race and beer pong. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

What are safe bug repellents for toddlers?
Michelle H asked:
I have a 15 month old daughter. We live in the South, and our family loves outdoor activities and sporting events. My daughter and I both have very sensitive skin, so I want to find something effective, but that also will not irritate her skin.

Suggestions? Where in France is a good place to go for an exchange?
8 asked:
The south seems like it might be interesting. I have looked up Aix-en-Provence, Montpellier, Grenoble and I know people in Nice. In the southwest there’s Perpignan, Toulouse, or Bordeaux. The cities near Belgium and Germany seem interesting also. I’m just throwing ideas out there.
Do you have any suggestions? I’ve never been to France but I’ve studied French in school. I’m a young Canadian guy and I enjoy outdoor sports like running and climbing. I’m leaning towards Aix-en-Provence first, then Nice and Bordeaux.
Has anyone been to Corsica?

Anyone else disc golf or intreasted in leaning how in between the ages of 17-21?
batman12_20 asked:
Disc golf is a slow and upcoming sport that people of many ages play. This is my 3rd year playing. There are three parks in the Corpus Christi, TX area and I’m looking for a partner to play with. Its an outdoor sport, that is played with a disc, which really looks like a frisbee, but its a disc, that is thrown at a basket that is usually 250-300 feet away. Its similiar to the sport of golf, except with a disk.

My stepson is turning 15 soon, what should I get him for his birthday?
Mlle A asked:
He plays soccer and loves video games, and he has a girlfriend, he’s also into some kinds of rap music (like Eminem) and he likes outdoor sports. He already has a scooter, a bike, an iPod (the big one), Xbox 360 and plenty of games, and a working cell phone. Since he has already gotten all the cool stuff, what would be a good gift??? (Yes I know he’s probably already spoiled, but he has 2 sets of parents and too many grandparents to count, so not much I can do there.) Thanks for any advice!
To the person who asked why I knowingly let a 15 year old listen to eminem, I don’t believe that limiting what music he listens to fall into my purview of my role as “Stepmother.” Also, he listens to what he wants to, and he gets good grades and stays out of trouble, so maybe rather than taking away everything that kids like to keep them out of trouble, people should try actually PARENTING. Why would you answer this question with such a cliche’ opinion? It’s his birthday, not my judgment day.

what is a good city for a northeastern guy married to a southern woman to live in?
rehabdoc67 asked:
We like outdoor sports like mountain biking and hiking and want somewhere with great restaurants and fun things for the kids to do. Also, there has to be places to ride horses.
